![]() Ability to plan practices, events and organize all the necessary materials and persons to carry out the activity.Be able to consistently meet schedule responsibilities for practice, coaching preparation, competition and related activities.Demonstrate positive attitude toward students and ability to motivate them toward developing a successful program.Understand the activity/sport, its safety practice, techniques, rules and progression of skill development.Must have current First Aid/CPR certification or be able to acquire it by the start of the season.Must be 19 or older for Assistant Coach and 21 or older for Head Coach per WIAA rules.Perform other related duties as assigned by District Administrators or the Athletic Director.Provide equal opportunities to all athletes as per the student nondiscrimination policy.Recognize and adhere to any athlete health plans.Complete and Submit accident reports for any injury to the school principal or designee.Follow the injuries, care, and prevention procedures as documented in the Mead School District Athletic Policies and Procedures.Adhere to all safety laws and district policies.Follow all rules in within the Mead School District Athletic Policies and Procedures.Know and understand the student-athlete handbook.Communicate with parents in regard to team rules and athletic department guidelines.Ensure that all athletes have completed and submitted all required documentation, including the medical insurance coverage form and have undergone and passed any required medical examinations before the regular practice season begins. ![]()
